ENID, Okla. —
City of Enid storm siren network will be tested at noon Monday, said Mike Honigsberg, certified director of emergency management for Enid and Garfield County.
Storm sirens normally are tested on the first Monday of the month.
If the skies are overcast or it is raining, the test will be postponed to noon Tuesday, Honigsberg said, adding if there is inclement weather on Tuesday, the test will be noon Wednesday.
The city activates 41 storm sirens across town, including a partnership with officials in North Enid and Northern Oklahoma Resource Center of Enid.
The public address system will be tested prior to the main system test.
The voice system currently is installed at Meadowlake and Crosslin parks.
