ENID, Okla. —
Enid Mayor Bill Shewey will be presenting a State of the City address Monday morning at Convention Hall
The event will begin with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed by the address at 8 a.m. Cost for the breakfast is $10.
Shewey said his address, titled “Enid, Still on the Move!” will help fill a need for communication between the city and the people.
“We need to communicate to the people all we’re doing,” Shewey said. “There’s a lot going on in the city of Enid, and we wanted to wrap it up in one capsule.”
Shewey said he will share “all that’s going on with the city, all the good news and all the challenges.”
“There’s a lot of good news to communicate,” Shewey said, “and I think this is a good way to communicate to the people.”
