The filing period for Garber mayor will be 8 a.m. Monday through 5 p.m. Wednesday, said Roy Schneider, Garfield County Election Board secretary.
Declarations of candidacy will be accepted at the election board office, 903 Failing, for the special election to be held Jan. 8.
Filing for Enid City Commission seats will be Dec. 3-4 for the Feb. 12 election. Wards 3, 4, and 6 will be open this year.
Incumbent commissioners are Lewis Blackburn, Ward 3; Drew Ritchie, Ward 4; and Todd Ging, Ward 6. Ging is term limited and cannot run again.
