Fog today, rain tomorrow? Forecast calls for a chance of precipitation

ENID, Okla. — A dense advisory for the Enid area has been extended to the noon hour, according to the National Weather Service.

Otherwise, the forecast for today calls for cloudy skies with a high near 65. A chance of rain for the area stands at 50 percent tonight, with a low only dipping into the upper-40s.

Strong winds should die down after midnight, but there could be some strong gusts, according to the NWS forecast.

The remainder of the work week calls for a continues chance of storms or showers Thursday before noon, with cloudy skies clearing later in the day. Highs should reach into the upper-50s, with light winds turning north and growing stronger.

Thursday night should be mostly clear with a low around 33.

Friday is forecast to be sunny with a high near 58 and light northeast wind turning southeast.

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is in the forecast for Saturday, with partly sunny skies and a high near 60.

Chance of showers or storms improves to 60 percent Saturday night, with a low around 45.

Sunday also looks good for some rain, with otherwise partly cloudy skies and a high near 59.
