Evangel Assembly of God to host team of ministers
Three generations will minister at 6 p.m. Sunday at Evangel Assembly of God Church.
The team includes Lester L. Lowery, pastor at Evangel Assembly of God; his daughter, Davene Pearcy, who, along with her husband Galen, is pastor of Radiant Life Church in Bentonville, Ark.; and Tabitha Pearcy, 20-year-old graduate of Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa. She is the granddaughter of Lowery and is doing missionary work in Haiti.

Club slates dance Feb. 9 at Moose Lodge
Enid Big Band Dance Club will have a dance Feb. 9 at Moose Lodge, 302 E. Purdue.
The dance will be 7-10 p.m. Cost is $35 per person. Membership fee to join Enid Big Band Dance Club is $225. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided, and there will be a cash bar. Music will be provided by Ron Maxey Band. RSVP by Monday by calling 233-6160.
Valentine cookie workshop slated Thursday
A valentine cookie bouquet-sugar cookie decorating workshop will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Garfield County OSU Extension Center, 316 E. Oxford.
The workshop is open to the public. Participants will get an instruction booklet and a small cookie bouquet they create for a $5 fee. For questions call 237-1228.
Weigh of Life meeting slated Feb. 12
The bariatrics group Weigh of Life will meet at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Denny Price Family YMCA. There will be a valentine meet-and-greet. Bring your sweetie and favorite dish, along with the recipe to share with others.
February will not have a Wednesday morning meeting.
Senior citizens dance start time changed to 7 p.m.
The senior citizens dance Wednesday night at Elks Lodge will be 7 p.m. instead of 7:45 p.m.
