Enrollment is open for the next round of adult education and English as a Second Language classes at Carver Educational Center.
Courses will begin next week, and limited space is available.
Carver offers free classes to help participants prepare for the state high school diploma test, as well as to improve their academic skills. Students receive academic assessments to ensure proper placement.
The program is sponsored by Enid Public Schools and the State Department of Education’s Lifelong Learning Section.
Classes will be available in five core subjects: math, English, science, social studies and literature.
Director Clayton Nolen said daytime classes begin Monday and will be held Mondays through Thursdays. Evening classes begin Tuesday and meet 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. ESL classes begin Monday and meet 6-9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.
