Northern Oklahoma College spring graduates announced
Northern Oklahoma College Associate degrees in Arts, Science and Applied Science were awarded to 100 Enid students at the close of the spring semester. A total of 427 graduates completed requirements for their degrees during this term.
Summa cum laude (with very high distinction) graduates maintained a grade-point average of 3.75 to 4.00. Graduating summa cum laude with Associate in Arts (AA) degrees were Lenita Krejci, Elementary Education, and Courtney Strzinek, Social Science.
Summa cum laude graduates with Associate in Science (AS) degrees were Christopher Jantz, Athletic Training; Wesley Miner, Mathematics; Seth Stambaugh, Pre-Medicine; Spencer Torgerson, Pre-Medicine; Tanner Wallace, Business Administration; Nathan Wilson, Business Administration.
Graduating with Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees were Jessica Barnard, Printing Technology; Emilee Belknap, Radiography; Zachary Hamen, Electronics Technology; Tyler Pearson, Network Engineering.
Magna cum laude (with high distinction) graduates maintained a GPA of 3.50 to 3.74. Sarah Sanborn graduated magna cum laude with an AA degree in English.
Awarded AS degrees in Business Administration were Tifiny Antonio, Sara Byrum, Kristelle Decker, Maci Hudson and Tiffini Moore. Other summa cum laude graduates included Kayla Denny, Biology/Zoology; Lacie Hale, Biology/Zoology; Rebecca McFadden, Arts and Sciences; Kasie Nichols, Nursing Pre-Baccalaureate; Stephanie Watkins, Arts and Sciences.
Graduating magna cum laude with AAS degrees in Nursing-RN were Kimberly Bristol, Donna Gehring, Patricia Haymaker and Jung Hee Hwang Hong. Other magna cum laude graduates were Guy Foster, Network Engineering; Jay Harbeson, Drafting and Design; Michael Misner, Network Engineering.
Cum laude (with distinction) graduates maintained a GPA of 3.25 to 3.49. Cum laude graduates awarded AA degrees in Social Science were Georgette Bass, Ashley Emmerson, Roxanne Gilbert and Chanti White. Others were Raven Taylor, Child Development; Toni Webb, Elementary Education.
Earning AS degrees in Business Administration were Kemalie Brice, Amanda Craig and Solena Rodriguez. Laren Barnes graduated cum laude with a degree in Arts and Sciences.
Receiving AAS degrees in Nursing-RN were Tamara Gould, Sherian Hopkins, Alicia Jernstrom, Savannah Warren and Genie Wells. Other cum laude graduates were Julia Brown, Network Engineering; Korey Chick, Radiography; Dante Clark, Respiratory Care; Amanda Gainer, Surgical Technology;
Other Enid students awarded AA degrees in Social Science included Kelly Amos, John LaMunyon, Ryan Nall, Timothy Stamper and Corbett White. Sharon Boggs, Madeline Cummings, Jami Frazer, Kimberly Ring, Tilly Russell and Katie Siebert received AA degrees in Elementary Education.

UPDATED photo- Silver Alert issued for missing Garfield County man
Garfield County authorities have issued a Silver Alert for an 88-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since leaving for church. The county sheriff’s office says Edward Sutter was last seen about 9:30 a.m. Sunday when he left home for 1st United Methodist Church in Enid. Sutter never arrived at the church. He was last seen driving a gray, 2003 Toyota Avalon. Authorities had initially said he was driving a Toyota Altima.
