Northwest Oklahoma received some strong storms, including large hail and damaging winds, late Monday night.
There were reports of power outages and broken windows due to hail in the Jet area in Alfalfa County. Meno and Lahoma also reportedly received some damage.
There were reports of hail damage in the Hillsdale-Kremlin area around 10:30 p.m.
About 82 homes were still without power in the Ames area around 9:30 this morning, according to the OG&E; Web site.
Nearly 5,500 power outages are reported after strong thunderstorms with high winds moved through the Oklahoma City area.
Oklahoma Gas and Electric reported 5,482 outages in the metro area early Tuesday after the storms moved through the area between 2 and 3 a.m.
No injuries or heavy damage were reported.
