ENID, Okla. —
Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center will host Family Farm Day on Saturday.
The event will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission to the Farm Life exhibit is free with a museum admission.
The exhibit is a hands-on experience for the family that showcases a time when farming was done with animals and human muscle.
The exhibit will include rope making, leather crafting, corn shelling and grinding, cotton production, quilting, spinning and weaving, butter making along with children’s crafts.
Enid Fire Department will have an antique fire engine, and trucks and tractors also will be on display.
A pie auction is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center is located at 507 S. 4th.

Settlement reached in Zaloudek Grain auger accident
Brad Gungoll, the Oklahoma City lawyer representing the families of Tyler Zander and Bryce Gannon in a negligence lawsuit against Zaloudek Grain Co. and its shareholders, said Friday morning the agreement was reached about 10:30 p.m. Thursday during a court-ordered settlement conference held at Gungoll’s office.

Youth believed to have drowned
Kingfisher Police Chief Dennis Baker said several teens were jumping Thursday from the dam into the creek, which was swollen by heavy rainfall from the previous few days. One of the teens jumped in but did not resurface.
