ENID, Okla. —
Enid Fire Department advises everyone to change the batteries in their smoke alarms when they “fall back” this weekend at the end of daylight-saving time.
The department also encourages everyone to test their smoke alarms each month.
Smoke alarms should be placed in every sleeping area in the home, in the hall or space outside the room and on every level of the home, including basements.
All clocks should be set back an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday.
