A 52-year-old Waukomis man was arrested Thursday on a complaint of aggravated possession of child pornography.
Waukomis Police Chief Philip Ott said he could not release the man’s name because the investigation was ongoing.
Waukomis Police Department, Enid Police Department and Garfield County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant about 4:30 p.m. Thursday on the man’s house, Ott said. They discovered a “large amount” of child pornography on a computer, he said.
Ott said he was made aware of the situation yesterday and “we acted immediately.”
Ott has forwarded information to the Garfield County District Attorney’s Office, and charges are pending.
