ENID, Okla. —
A Cleo Springs man is in an Enid hospital following an ATV accident Saturday night.
Mitchell Lucius Waugh, 30, was taken to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, where he is listed in critical condition with head, internal trunk, leg and arm injuries.
According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Suzuki four-wheeler driven by Waugh was eastbound on Oklahoma Street in Cleo Springs when the driver lost control and rolled the ATV. Waugh was ejected, coming to rest 43 feet from the point of impact.
According to the report, the cause of the accident was drinking with ability impaired. No helmet was in use.
