ENID, Okla. —
Police arrested a 27-year-old Enid man Thursday afternoon on complaints of soliciting sexual conduct or communication from a minor and possession of child pornography.
Sgt. Dustin Albright arrested Kristapher Lee Walker after Walker admitted to engaging in sexually explicit conversations with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl, according to an EPD press release.
The arrest was the result of an undercover online investigation that began with a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that was sent to Enid Police Department, according to the press release. The Cybertip stated an adult male was “sexting” back and forth with a 14-year-old girl from Ohio.
Albright spoke with the mother of the girl, who told Albright her daughter said she was having “phone sex” with a man who she believed to be between 22 and 37 years old, according to the release. The girl told her mother the man went by the name “Tim Smith.”
The girl’s mother told Albright she searched the Internet for the man’s phone number and found it on a sexually explicit website. She said the man commented on a story and he posted his phone number asking for girls to call or “sext” him.
Albright began an undercover investigation, and Walker engaged in sexually explicit conversations with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old female, according to the EPD release. Albright was able to identify the person as Kristapher Walker.
Albright made contact with Walker late Thursday afternoon. Walker later was interviewed and subsequently arrested.
Walker admitted to communicating with the girl in Ohio and to other underage girls around the nation, according to the release. He admitted to having sexually explicit photos of underage girls, and said the images were sent to him by the girls.
Sexually explicit photos were found to be in Walker’s possession, according to the release. It was learned the images were sent to him by a 15-year-old girl in another state. It also was learned Walker sent sexually explicit photos of himself to the 15-year-old girl, according to the release.
“I believe that there are numerous other victims of this crime out there, and I intend to investigate this matter as far as possible,” Albright said.
Walker was booked into Garfield County Detention Facility on complaints of soliciting sexual conduct or communication from a minor through use of technology and possession of child pornography.
