ENID, Okla. —
The long-awaited opening of the remodeled Convention Hall will be Sunday, Nov. 18, with an opening ceremony starting at 1:30 p.m.
Activities will start with a Veterans Day parade downtown and conclude at Convention Hall. The facility will be open for public viewing 2-5 p.m. The 10,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, the 3,000-square-foot Junior Ballroom, seven meeting rooms and board room will be open.
“This is a great day when Enid retained and renovated a historic facility that is an asset to the community and a wonderful improvement to the downtown area,” said Mayor Bill Shewey.
