An Enid man is the lucky winner of tickets to attend Saturday’s OU-Texas game.
Bill Spencer won the tickets by answering an online questionnaire about technical education.
Oklahoma CareerTech sponsored the contest.
Participants answered a brief online survey to measure perceptions of CareerTech education in Oklahoma, and were entered to win tickets.
Eight pairs of tickets were awarded, two sets of tickets in each quadrant of the state.
Forty-three percent of respondents revealed they had seen, read or heard about the Oklahoma CareerTech current marketing campaign that included messages about elevating the economy and careers.
Survey respondents said they believe it’s important to prepare high school students for future success in the workplace.
An overwhelming number — 91 percent — of those completing the survey agree the money spent by the state on Oklahoma CareerTech is a good investment.
Last year, 500,000 people enrolled in CareerTech programs in Oklahoma.
