Health care advance directives workshop Sunday
A workshop on advance directives for health care will presented at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont at 2 p.m. Sunday.
David Huff of NODA will explain the four sections of advance directives; which include living will, appointment of health care proxy, anatomical gifts and specific instructions. The terminology used and the options available in the document will be explained.
Other important documents for seniors relating to their health care needs will also be explained. There is no charge to attend and everyone is invited.
Night of Praise Tuesday at Convention Hall
Abounding Grace Ministries will present a community-wide Night of Praise Tuesday evening at Enid Convention Hall, 301 S. Independence.
The event will feature Dennis Jernigan and will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30. Admission is free.
A love offering also will be received to help further the ministry of Abounding Grace Ministries in providing biblical counseling and spiritual direction to those in need.
Library slates clearance book sale March 6-9
A clearance book sale will be held on the main floor of the Library of Enid and Garfield County Wednesday through March 9
Wednesday is members-only night, and the rest of the sale is open to the public through Saturday. Friends memberships can be purchased for $10. Sale hours are Wednesday 4-8 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and March 9 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All day March 9 is the traditional $1 bag sale, where you can get all the books you can fit in a bag for $1.
