A Dacoma man was injured Monday when his truck collided with a train in Woods County.
James Otis Buckles, 70, was driving his 2008 Chevy pickup southbound on county road at noon when he failed to yield for a BNSF train, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
His vehicle was struck by the train, which was driven by R.J. Maloy, of Amarillo, Texas, three-tenths of a mile south of Dewey Road.
Buckles was transported to Share Medical Center in Alva with head and leg injuries. OHP reported he was in stable condition.
