MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) — The mother of U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn has died in Muskogee.
An official with Foster-Petering Funeral Home in Muskogee says 89-year-old Anita Joy Coburn-Harrell died Thursday in Muskogee. A cause of death was not immediately released.
Born in Drummond in 1920, Coburn-Harrell was married to Muskogee businessman O.W. “Bill” Coburn, who died in 1985. She married C. Clay Harrell of Muskogee in 1989.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Muskogee.
