An article in Tuesday’s Enid News & Eagle regarding an Advance Foods Co. recall incorrectly gave the details and dates of a previous recall.
The current recall involved approximately 110,730 pounds of frozen beef steak fritter products sold to restaurants that may have contained bits of plastic.
Contaminated packages have been collected and are no longer in the marketplace, said Brian Hayden, the company’s vice president of people services.
