A 17-year-old Goltry girl jumped from a moving minivan Sunday on Oklahoma 132 after getting into an argument with her father.
OHP Trooper Joshua Byrd said Megan R. Kurtz jumped out of the vehicle, which was going approximately 50 mph at the time, after the argument with her father, Grant Kurtz, 44.
Byrd said the girl hit her head on the road, and sustained “major trauma” to her head. She is being treated at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
“She’s better off than what (the doctors) had expected,” he said.
