Traffic was backed up on Interstate 35 for a time Wednesday following multiple accidents that closed the northbound and southbound lanes in Noble County, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The incidents happened at mile marker 200 near the Billings exit. The incidents happened in a construction zone, therefore I-35 already was limited to just one lane of traffic in each direction.
Both lanes were shut down at 12:28 p.m. and remained closed until 2:13 p.m.
At the time the highway was re-opened, traffic was backed up for several miles, according to OHP. Hours later, traffic still was backed up.
There were no reports of injuries.
