Woman injured in two-vehicle accident

A Cleo Springs woman was injured Saturday when her car collided with another on U.S. 412 north of Ringwood in Major County.

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol report stated Patricia Jo Powell was taken to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center after a car driven by Lewis M. Wilmott turned in front of her on U.S. 412 north of Ringwood. Powell was driving east on U.S. 412 and Wilmott was driving west, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. Wilmott turned left onto Main Street in Ringwood and failed to yield, according to the report.

Wilmott was not injured.

The accident was investigated by OHP Trooper Brock Morgan of the Woods County Detachment, assisted by Major County EMS/ Sheriff’s Department and Ringwood Fire and Rescue.
