One person was killed and three were injured in a three-vehicle accident in the 2700 block of West Garriott Friday evening.
Four people were transported by LIFE EMS to Enid hospitals. A woman involved in the accident was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to Enid police.
“A Dodge Stratus was eastbound on the inside lane of Garriott, when a Cadillac pulled out of La Fiesta (Mexican Cafe) and was struck on the driver’s side door by the Stratus,” according to Enid Police Department Sgt. The woman in the Cadillac was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Both the driver and passenger of the Stratus were injured and a passenger in the minivan was injured. No names have been released.
The accident closed the westbound lanes of Garriott from Cleveland to west of the scene for 31⁄2 hours.
