Drummond Public Schools will have a special guest speaker visit Wednesday in honor of Veterans Day.
Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Alan Milacek will speak to Drummond’s student body and faculty at 10 a.m. about his experiences during the Vietnam War.
Army veteran Albert Gray Eagle, of Oklahoma City, also will visit and perform on his hand carved wooden flutes.
Lunch will be provided for all veterans after the program. Veterans attending are asked to make reservations by calling (580) 493-2272.
Enid’s schools also will hold various Veterans Day programs Wednesday.

• Coolidge Elementary School second and third grade, 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

• Garfield Elementary School, 2 p.m.

Pioneer High School will have a Veterans Day assembly at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, and Pleasant Vale Elementary School will have a special flag presentation during its regular morning assembly Friday.
Kremlin-Hillsdale Public Schools will hold a Veterans Day program at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the new gymnasium.
