'Real Men Sing' slated Friday at symphony center

Boys from Enid’s elementary schools soon will be giving a community performance to show boys sing and perform, too.

The “Real Men Sing” performance will begin at 4 p.m. at Enid Symphony Center and will be directed by John Stam, of Emmanuel Christian School, and Randy Johnson, of Enid High School.

The boys have been rehearsing the selected songs for several weeks with their music teachers.

The program was designed to encourage boys to participate in the arts.

Prior to the performance, the boys will get to see a performance by several males in the Enid High School chorus program.

“Real Men Sing” is sponsored by Enid Arts, Ward Petroleum and other local donors.
