Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center will present the next lecture in a series of five free lectures on lessons in leadership Monday.
The lectures are given by J.R. Fears of the University of Oklahoma. The next lecture will be 7 p.m. Monday at the Gantz Center at Northern Oklahoma College Enid. The lecture will cover Homer’s “The Iliad” and will focus on the Middle East and how Homer’s book can teach lessons applicable to current times.
Those attending will have an opportunity to enter to win a copy of “The Iliad” at the event. The center also will sell opportunities to win a catered dinner with Fears at the new Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center Museum. For information, go to www.regionalheritagecenter.org or call 234-8999.
