A Texas man was injured Monday when he fell from one of the railroad bridges at Meadowlake Park.
The man, 50, of Burleson, Texas, was taken to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center and admitted for observation of a head injury, according to Enid Police Department Lt. Eric Holtzclaw.
An Enid Fire Depart-ment report listed the man’s name as Charles Meek.
According to Holtzclaw, the man was walking across the west bridge at the park and fell 10-12 feet when a piece of loose concrete moved. He hit the ground and rolled into the water.
The accident happened at 3:32 p.m.
Holtzclaw said the bridge is clearly marked on both sides with warnings not to walk across. He urged others to heed the warnings.
No charges are expected.
