Enid High School’s Big Blue Band qualified for its 29th straight finals competition Saturday during the Oklahoma Bandmasters State Marching Contest, held at the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond.
The Big Blue Band’s finals placing was not avail-able at press time.
Nineteen bands competed in the Class 6A competition, with the top 12 moving into the finals late Saturday night.
The EHS band, directed by Robert Anderson, qualified for the competition after receiving a superior rating at the OSSAA competition Wednesday.
