High school seniors considering attending Northwestern Oklahoma State University can receive a $400 scholarship for simply showing up at the university in Alva for Ranger Preview.
NWOSU’s annual Ranger Preview will take place at the university’s Percefull Fieldhouse Nov. 7 beginning at 9 a.m. and any high school senior who attends the event and is admitted as a full-time NWOSU student on the Alva campus will receive a $400 NWOSU scholarship. All high school seniors are eligible to attend the Ranger Preview event.
Students are encouraged to pre-register for the event and can do so my going to www.nwosu.edu and clicking on the “Ranger Preview” icon.
Students also may come the day of the event without pre-registering.
The day of the event registration will begin at 9 a.m. and there will be a welcome at 10:30 a.m.
Following the welcome, students will be able to go on campus tours and meet with faculty members and representatives of campus organizations.
Students and their families may then attend a NWOSU cookout at noon.
