Miss Cimarron has been crowned

Hayley Pitts recently was named 2010 Miss Cimarron at the Miss/Junior Miss Cimarron Pageant.

Heather Crow was named as Miss Cimarron High and will go on to the Miss Cinderalla Pageant next year at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

Miss Cimarron first runner-up was Heather Crow, and second runner-up was Jessica Heinen. Laura Schultz won the Miss Talent competition. Miss Photogenic was Heather Crow.

Junior Miss was Mikaela Lee, who also won the talent contest and Miss/Junior Miss Congeniality. Junior Miss first runner-up was Carly Whitten and second runner-up was Cailtyn Whitten. Junior Miss Photogenic was Carly Whitten.

Cimarron Review results were: infant boy, Benjamin Rivera; infant girl, Charlee Westfahl; baby boy, Alexzander Weidner; baby girl, Abigail Overstreet; tiny tot boy, Cooper Westfahl; tiny tot girl, Tori Rhodes; little miss, Sydni Classen; princess, Regan Walker; little man, Brayden Fisher; pretty girl, Shelby Kirkhart; and young miss, Madison Poslick.

Cimarron Days Parade winners were: floats, first freshman class, second Troop 26 Boy Scouts, and third, senior class; decorated bikes, first, Torie Rhodes, second, Sydni Classen, and third, Alex Connell; pets, first, Regan Walker, second, Keith Simmons, and third, Susanna and Rebecca Davidson.

The parade was sponsored by Lahoma Lions Club.

FCA members are going to Game Day on Saturday at Oklahoma State University.

The fifth- and sixth-grade basketball teams will kick off the season against Drummond at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. They will play at Pioneer at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 28.

Parent-teacher conferences will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday. There will be no school Friday.

Meet the Blazers will be Oct. 27. The eighth grade’s chili supper will begin at 6 p.m., with Meet the Blazers starting at 7 p.m.

Speech class will perform in a play beginning at 9 a.m. Oct. 28.

--------

School carnival will be 6-9 p.m. Oct. 30.

--------

Book fair will be all next week.
