Fairview Fellowship Home’s annual Fall Festival is set for 4-7 p.m. Thursday. This event is held for residents, families and friends in the community. The home will serve a free supper including homemade stew, biscuits and cobbler. There also will be live entertain-ment.

Fairvivew Fellowship Home and Village now is offering training in the use of Exerstrider walking poles.
LaDonna Pembrook, wellness director, recently completed the training and is training others to use the poles. Exerstrider walking is a form of “Nordic walking” which helps with balance, strengthens and conditions all of the body’s major muscles, improves circulation and more. A class will be offered at 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at the apartment complex.
