First Missionary Baptist Church, 467 E. Garriott, will celebrate 116 years of ministry with spiritual renewal services beginning at 7 p.m. today.
The Rev. Wilbur Flynn of New Hope Baptist Church, Watonga, will be the guest speaker.
The Rev. Barry K. Robinson of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, Enid, will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday, and the First Missionary Baptist Mass Choir will host a musical to include guest choirs at 7 p.m. Friday.
The festive finale is Sunday, with the Rev. Ivy Haynes Jr. of Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas, delivering the message at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Former members, friends and colleagues who have contributed to the heritage of First Missionary Baptist Church are welcome to attend.
