Drummond’s quiz bowl team attended Skeltur Conference Quiz Bowl Tournament Oct. 10 at Pioneer. Students attending were William Neiswanger, captain Evan Mooney, Darcy Tuohy, Brian Masters, Jacob Singleton and Tim Vasquez.
Drummond won all seven games. Neiswanger was MVP of the all-tournament team with an average of 53 points per game. Mooney was named third member of the all-tournament team. Masters lettered at this tournament. The final results were Drummond, first; Kremlin-Hillsdale, second; Garber, third; and Pioneer, fourth.
The final round of the Skeltur triads will be held Monday at Cimarron.

Drummond’s quiz bowl team is preparing for Drummond schools’ annual Halloween carnival and will sponsor the spook house and bingo.
Donnie and David Miller, Shannon and Carole Rodenberg, Gary Smith, Becky Mills, Betty Janzen, Dianne Pool, Robin Hayes, Carl and Paulette Sterling and Salem United Methodist youth group have helped the quiz bowl team in preparing for the event.
