Hospice Circle of Love volunteers are busy preparing for the non-profit organization’s fall book sale.
The event will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 23 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 24. The sale will be held in the north building at the Hospice Circle of Love office, 314 S. 3rd.
Hardback books sell for $1 and paperbacks are 50 cents. Thousands of titles are available, including many popular authors. Books are categorized by type. Mysteries, self-help, children’s books, cookbooks, westerns, romance novels and more will be included in the sale.
Book donations are being accepted. Books can be dropped off at Hospice Circle of Love 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Once the sale has begun, donations should be dropped off at the north building.
Proceeds from the event benefit Hospice Circle of Love patients. Hospice Circle of Love provides physical, emotional and spiritual support to the terminally ill, helping them to live a higher quality of life at the end of life.
