BLACKWELL, Okla. (AP) — Two people have been killed when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a van near Blackwell in Kay County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 46-year-old Carl Rose of Blackwell and 40-year-old Denise Ferguson of Marland died in the crash about 7:15 p.m. Monday.
Troopers say the two were southbound on a motorcycle driven by Rose when it ran a stop sign and was hit by the van.
The driver and a 7-year-old girl in the van were treated and released at a Blackwell hospital while a second 7-year-old in the van was not injured.
