Police are seeking a man who robbed Wendy’s Sunday morning.
Enid Police Department detectives are investigating the armed robbery that occurred about 9:49 a.m. at the restaurant, located at 606 S. Garland.
The department received a 911 call reporting a white male came into the business and threatened an employee with a knife while demanding money.
The man is described as being between 5-foot-8-inches to 6-foot tall, weighing between 200 and 250 pounds. At the time of the robbery the man was wearing a gray hoody, blue jeans and a ball cap.
The man fled from the business with an undetermined amount of cash and is believed to have fled from the business on a sport-type motorcycle.
The business had not opened yet and there were no customers present and no injuries reported.
Anyone having information that will lead to an arrest or prosecution is asked to call Garfield County Crime Stoppers at 233-6233 or Enid Police Department at 242-7000. Callers can earn up to a $1,000 reward and will not be required to testify or be identified.
