Enid Police Department has launched its re-designed Web site with several features added for the public.
“We have tried to make it easier to use with much more information,” said Capt. Dean Grassino. “This is vastly different from old site and much more informative.”
The site, www.enid .org/police, offers visitors photographs of pets available for adoption at the animal shelter, postings to help locate lost and found pets, public service announcements and press releases and an area where visitors can anonymously submit online tips.
Grassino said the site also includes employment information with the department, as well as a recruitment video for prospective candidates to view.
The site features a sections for other law enforcement agencies and residents to contact members of the department’s command staff.
The site was designed by city of Enid’s Web designer Derrick Silas.
“He did a fantastic job of getting what we wanted and getting it to flow and making it easier for citizens,” Grassino said.
The captain said there were still a few things left to “tweak” on the site, and minor changes will be made. He said the site will be updated continually with information.
The site also can be accessed by visiting www.enid.org and clicking on departments.
