Enid woman injured in 4-wheeler accident
A 24-year-old Enid woman was critically injured Sunday evening in a four-wheeler accident in far western Garfield County.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Emily Gariepy was injured while driving a 2007 Honda Rancher ATV on private property near the intersection of Banner Road and Fox Drive. The report stated the vehicle hit a large hole in a field and became airborne, ejecting her and a passenger, Jason Clark, 25, of Enid.
Gariepy was transported by LIFE EMS to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in critical condition with head, internal and external trunk, arm and leg injuries.
Clark was transported to St. Mary’s and was treated and released.
The OHP report said the cause of the accident was unsafe speed.

UPDATED photo- Silver Alert issued for missing Garfield County man
Garfield County authorities have issued a Silver Alert for an 88-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since leaving for church. The county sheriff’s office says Edward Sutter was last seen about 9:30 a.m. Sunday when he left home for 1st United Methodist Church in Enid. Sutter never arrived at the church. He was last seen driving a gray, 2003 Toyota Avalon. Authorities had initially said he was driving a Toyota Altima.
