Blood institute slates pair of drives this week in Enid
Northwest Oklahoma Blood Institute will have two blood drives in Enid this week.
The first will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the board room at Northwestern Oklahoma State University-Enid, 2929 E. Randolph. For information or to make an appointment, call Lori Coonrod at 213-3147.
The second will be 1-6 p.m. Saturday in the bloodmobile at Starbuck’s, 2326 W. Garriott.
All donors will receive two tickets to the Oklahoma City Zoo and a free T-shirt, along with free health screenings and Members for Life points to redeem at OBI’s online store.
SWOSU music department choral camp today through Wednesday
Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Department of Music will host it 36th annual choral camp today through Wednesday on the Weatherford campus.
The camp is open to students who have completed grades 6-12. Registration will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday in the Fine Arts Center lobby. Late registrations and walk-ins will be accepted.
The final concert for the camp will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Fine Arts Center auditorium. The public is invited, and admission is free.

Arraignment set for murder trial
An Enid man was bound over for trial on a first-degree murder charge following a preliminary hearing Friday in the death of a 53-year-old man at a bar on Valentine’s Day.
