Two Carmen residents were hospitalized Thursday following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Oklahoma 45 and Oklahoma 58 in Alfalfa County.
Leona D. Stonehocker, 64, was taken to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, then transferred to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. She is listed in good condition with a leg injury.
Lacada M. Davis, 84, was admitted to St. Mary’s in good condition with a chest injury.
The accident happened at 10:05 a.m.
According to the report, Cory Robert Yeoman, 20, of Aline, was driving a 1999 Ford F-150 pickup south on Oklahoma 58 when he failed to yield at a stop and was hit by a 2006 Toyota driven by Earlene Moser, 84, of Carmen. Moser was driving east on Oklahoma 45.
Yeoman was not injured, according to the report, and Moser was treated at St. Mary’s and released.
Seat belts were in use in both vehicles.
