City commissioners are
set to meet today

Enid city commissioners will hold an executive session at 4:30 p.m. today to discuss contract negotiations with American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).
The city has been in negotiations with the union for the past several weeks, and City Manager Eric Benson will give an update to commissioners.
Benson said Monday he is encouraged at the process of talks.
The special executive session will precede the regular city commission study session, which begins at 5 p.m. The regular meeting will be 6:30 p.m., at the city administration building, 401 W. Garriott.
Puppet show at library
is canceled today
The puppet show scheduled for today at Public Library of Enid and Garfield County has been canceled. The movie “The Shaggy D.A.” will be shown in its place.
