Angela VonHage, contest chair, has announced the winners of the Yard of the Month contest in Waverley Historic District for May. The overall winning yard belongs to Paul and Angela Stone, 1212 W. Oklahoma. The Stones purchased their Circa 1907 Victorian-style home in September 2007 and have worked to improve both their yard and home. Paul is owner and operator of Signs on a Dime. Other Yard of the Month winners include: The home of Lou Hargrave and Laura Fenton, 1601 W. Broadway; Val and Terri Ross, 1306 W. Maine; and Dana and Mary Clark, 1302 W. Cherokee.
