An 18-year-old Enid teen has been charged with second-degree rape for having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
Angel Medina Sanchez faces one to 15 years in prison if convicted of the felony charge.
According to an affidavit, the girl’s mother reported to police the night of June 6 her daughter came home and said she’d been raped.
Police interviewed the girl June 7. She said she had gone to 728 N. 5th with a friend and two males, one of whom later was identified as Sanchez, according to the affidavit.
The girl said she and Sanchez went into a bedroom with only a mattress on the floor and a computer in the corner, and she was raped, according to the affidavit.
When police interviewed Sanchez June 7 he admitted to having sex with the girl, according to the affidavit.
He is free on $15,000 bond and was ordered to return to court next month for a bond appearance.
