International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge 898 members voted overwhelmingly Friday to strike at Vance Air Force Base.
Union members cast two ballots Friday, one to reject a contract with the base’s prime contractor, CSC Applied Technologies LLC, and sub-contractors DenMar Services, M1 Support Services and PRI/DJI, and the other vote to go on strike starting Monday.
The vote to reject the contract was 666-28, while the vote to strike was 655-41.
The union’s three-year contract with CSC and the others expires at midnight Sunday.
