Woods County Mineral Owners Association will have its annual business meeting 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Dinner will come first, followed by guest speaker, Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Dana L. Murphy. The event will be in the ballroom of VIP Supper Club, 3020 College Blvd. in Alva.
Members with paid dues for 2008-09 will receive one complimentary dinner ticket. Additional dinner reservations will be $11 and must be called to Woods County Oklahoma State University Extension Office, (580) 327-2786, by Tuesday.
After Murphy’s speech, members will elect replacements to fill the expired terms of three directors, District I, Clint Strawn; District II, Dewey Phillips; and District III, Alberta Bliss.
Murphy was elected to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission in November.
