An injury accident occured 8:55 p.m. Friday night near Mutual.
Timmy Joe Rogers, 22, and Kyle David Jenkins, 22, both of Elkhart, Kan., were westbound on U.S. 270 two miles south and seven miles east of Mutual when the pickup Rogers was driving lost power, stopping in the lane of traffic. Rogers and Jenkins were in front of the pickup inspecting it when the pickup was struck from behind by a pickup driven by Dustin S. Harmon, 22, of Perkins. The pickup was pushed into Rogers and Jenkins.
Rogers was taken to Woodward Regional Hospi-tal with trunk and internal injuries and was treated and released. Jenkins was transported to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with a concussion and multiple cuts. He is listed in good condition.
