Main Street Enid needs
volunteers today
Main Street Enid is needing volunteers to work for a couple of hours today to weed and put new plantings in the corner planters in the downtown area.
Volunteers are needed between 4 and 7 p.m. They are asked to meet at the Main Street office, 122 W. Randolph, at 4.
Oklahoma Beef Council
to sponsor blood drive
Grills will be fired up and sleeves rolled up on May 22 when Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) and Oklahoma Beef Council partner to beef up Oklahoma’s blood supply before Memorial Day weekend.
Oklahoma Blood Insti-tute’s Enid donor center, 301 E. Cherokee, will offer all-beef hotdogs, chips and soft drinks to blood donors 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Donors also will receive a blood donor T-shirt, Members for Life points to redeem at OBI’s online store and free health screenings. One lucky donor will win an Oklahoma Beef Council prize basket that includes a $100 Visa gift card.
