Ringwood band banquet to be held on Thursday
Band banquet will be 7 p.m. Thursday in the school cafeteria.

The all-sports banquet will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the old gym.

Nine-weeks tests for odd hours will be May 13. and May 14 for even hours.

School awards assembly will 9 a.m. May 15.

FFA banquet will be at 6 p.m. May 15.

Brandon Folger and Lathan Nichols, juniors at Ringwood High School, will attend 2009 Oklahoma American Legion Boys State at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami.
Ames American Legion, Post 340 is sponsoring them.
Folger is the son of Fred and Janette Folger. Nichols is the son of Kyndell and Michelle Nichols.
Kaci Kliewer, a junior at Ringwood High School, will be the first girl to ever represent Ringwood at Oklahoma Girls State at University of Oklahoma in Norman.
She is the daughter of David and Betty Kliewer.

UPDATED photo- Silver Alert issued for missing Garfield County man
Garfield County authorities have issued a Silver Alert for an 88-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since leaving for church. The county sheriff’s office says Edward Sutter was last seen about 9:30 a.m. Sunday when he left home for 1st United Methodist Church in Enid. Sutter never arrived at the church. He was last seen driving a gray, 2003 Toyota Avalon. Authorities had initially said he was driving a Toyota Altima.
