Several Ringwood FCCLA members recently competed in the state FCCLA STAR events in Stillwater.
Libby Regier placed first in creed speaking and interpretation, junior division. Maricela Aguilar and Vanessa Lora placed third in chapter showcase manual event.
Two Ringwood FCCLA members were recognized at the 2009 state convention held April 3 in Oklahoma City. Emily Buller received the Oklahoma FCCLA Alumni and Associates State Officer Scholarship for $1,000. Kelsey Richert re-ceived the Oklahoma FCCLA Alumni and Associates member-at-large scholarship for $1,000.
Ringwood FCCLA member Brittany Bisel was selected to perform the national anthem during opening ceremonies for the convention.
