Benjamin J. Bese graduated from Navy Recruit Training Command Oct. 10.
He enlisted in the Navy during his senior year at Oklahoma Bible Academy. In August 2008, he attended nine weeks of Navy recruiting training in Great Lakes, Ill., where he learned seamanship, first aid, team building and firefighting.
From there he went to Gunner’s Mate “A” School in Great Lakes. He learned different weapons systems and electronics. After graduation from “A” school in April he has orders to attend Vertical Launching System “C” School in San Diego. He then reports to the U.S.S. Chosin, a cruiser in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
He is a 2008 graduate of Oklahoma Bible Academy and the son of Max and Linda Bese.
